
On September 16, 2021 in the hall of the Department of Chess at the National Sports Academy - Sofia, Bulgaria was held the Annual General Assembly of the International Society for Applied Chess (ISAC).
The organization was established in 2017 in Pazardzhik and unites individuals who apply the game of chess in various fields of the theory and the practice. Its members are representatives of Germany, Spain, Poland and Bulgaria.
The coronavirus pandemic and the anti-epidemic measures introduced have required various forms of participation of ISAC members: on-site and online presence.
The chairman of the meeting was the secretary of the board of the organization - Nadezhda Kuzermanova. The chairman of the organization - Ch. Assistant Professor Radislav Atanasov, introduced the participants to the report of the activity of the organization for last year.
The event passed with the following agenda: a review of the membership was made, a report on the activities of the organization and a financial report for 2020 were adopted, as well as a new operational plan. Emphasis was placed on the work on the organization's website and the need for regular meetings. Possibilities for the creation of a master's program for the training of chessmate therapists with the participation of the University of Heidelberg, Germany were discussed. Ideas were shared to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the organization in 2022.
