On October 6, 7 and 8, 2017 in Pazardzhik city, Bulgaria was held an International Scientific-Applied Conference "Bio-Psycho-Social Applications of Chess". The event was
dedicated on the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Association "Chovekolubie" and the World Mental Health Day – October 10.
In the first day was held a Chess match with live figures. The participants were impressed by how quickly the game of chess creates a common language between people of different social status, culture, education, nationality.
On October 7 took place an International Scientific-Applied Conference "Bio-Psycho-Social Applications of Chess". Specialists, applying the game of chess in various spheres of life - sports, education, medicine, psychotherapy, scientific research, social rehabilitation, exchanged expierence on the conference. Participants from Bulgaria, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Poland, and The United States of America were present on the hall.
Theoretical concepts, research and good practices for the application of the chess game were presented. Part of the event took place in an online session. The presentations were published in a proceedings of good practices.
Inspired by the joint work during the conference, 22 people from Bulgaria, Germany, Spain and Poland founded the International Society Applied Chess on the third day of the event.
През първия ден се проведе Шахматен мач с живи фигури. Участниците бяха впечатлени колко бързо шахматната игра създава общ език между хора с различен социален статус, култура, образование, националност.
На 7 октомври се състоя конференцията „Био-психо-социални приложения на шахматната игра”. На нея обмениха опит специалисти, прилагащи шахматната игра в различни сфери на живота – спорт, обучение, медицина, психотерапия, научни изследвания, социална рехабилитация. В една зала присъстваха участници от България, Германия, Великобритания, Испания, Полша, Съединени американски щати. Представени бяха теоретични концепции, научни изследвания и добри практики за приложение на шахматната игра. Част от събитието протече в онлайн сесия. Направените презентации бяха издадени в сборник с добри практики.
Вдъхновени от съвместната работа по време на конференцията, 22 човека от България, Германия, Испания и Полша учредиха Международно общество за приложен шахмат в третия ден на събитието.
