On November 17, 2018 in Sofia was held the annual General Assembly of the members of the International Society for Applied Chess. Members of the organization from Bulgaria, Germany and Syria were present.
The membership was reviewed, a strategic plan, an operational plan for 2019 and a budget were adopted. The priority strategic goals include expanding the ISAC network, organizational strengthening and promotion and providing sustainable funding for the network, s activities.
Among those present was Prof. Dr. Sabine Vollstaedt–Klein from Germany, a member of the organization and the representative of the Central Institute for Mental Health at the University of Heidelberg. The day before the Assembly, she exchanged ideas for cooperation with the chairman of the ISAC – Radislav Atanasov, Chief Assistant Professor at the National Sports Academy in Bulgaria.
